Each copy of the certificate of conformity is accompanied by a press of company, the signature of the head and should be certified by the notary. Certificates or affirmation on their conformity are represented to customs officers together with the customs cargo declaration and are necessary documents for obtaining of permission to import goods into the territory of the Russian Federation. The customs house officer may call and request confirmation by phones specified in the certificate of conformity from the experts giving out the certificate. Presence of the copy of certificate of conformity in the retail shop trading in the imported goods, may be checked up by tax inspectors and sanitary stations representatives.
