The validity of the certificate of conformity given in Russia according to the interstate agreements achieved earlier is also distributed to Kazakhstan, Georgia and Byelorussia. All states of CIS demand conformity of production imported in these countries to norms of Gosstandard. The situation is caused by absence in these countries their own highly equipped laboratories for realization of necessary tests. Except for Ukraine which is giving out the own certificate of quality (on some kinds of the goods), all other countries of the CIS are contented with a confirmation of certificates of conformity GOST R given out in Russia.
