The Fire Certificate

The fire certificate or the certificate of fire safety is the document confirming, that production corresponds to requirements of fire safety.

Certification fire (the Order of the Ministry of Emergency Measures of the Russian Federation from 6/18/2003 N 312) is made by means of delivery of object of certification in writing certifying conformity to requirements of fire safety (the certificate of fire safety), established in normative documents.

Fire safety - a condition of security of the person, property, a society and the state from fires. The legislation of the Russian Federation on fire safety is based on the Constitution of the Russian Federation. Normative legal base of acknowledgement of conformity to requirements of fire safety at obligatory certification in System legislative and other normative legal certificates of the Russian Federation, state standards make, norms of fire safety, sanitary rules and norms, building norms and rules, rules of service of the population and other documents which according to the legislation of the Russian Federation establish obligatory requirements to fire safety and quality of production.

Objects of certification on fire safety are: production of the industry, the building industry and enterprise activity, including imported to Russia (substances and materials, building designs, means of production and maintenance offire safety, technological installations, processes, vehicles, electronic, electrotechnical products, their elements and sets) services in the field of fire safety (the fire barrier building designs, repair and charge fire extinguishers, installation, adjustment, maintenance service of systems of fire-prevention protection, etc.).

According to the Federal law " About fire safety " and the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation from November, 9th, 2001 N 1309 " About perfection of the government in the field of fire safety " the List of production which is a subject obligatory certification in the field offire safety (the order of the Ministry of Emergency Measures from July, 8th, 2002 N 320) is approved.

Into the List have entered:

• Means of maintenance of fire safety
• Substances and materials
• Building designs and products
• Devices electrotechnical and devices electric
• Devices heat-retaining

The list of the documents necessary for reception of the certificate of fire safety.
