The only document that might be required for the Customs clearance in Belarus is GOST B Certificate of Conformity issued by certification body accredited by Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Certification (Gosstandart). The list of goods subject to GOST B certificate is governed by Order No 35 dated 30.07.2004, with several addendums issued in 2004 - 2007. The above documents contain list of goods specified by Harmonized System tariff codes for which GOST B is a mandatory document to allow clearing of the goods through the customs. This list contains mainly consumer goods, food products, vehicles etc.; however it also contains some types of equipments for industrial purposes.

Fire certification
There is no separate Fire certification system in Belarus, but for Fire detecting and Fire fighting equipment mandatory GOST B certificate is required, issued by certification body established by Belarus Ministry of Emergency. In order to get GOST B issued for such equipment, tests should be carried out. For type certification factory visit is required. In fact such GOST B certificate serves as Fire certificate in Russia and has the same procedure to obtain it.
